Apophatic Art Practice and Research
An open call for multimodal proposals exploring apophatic approaches to contemporary art and research practices.
In an era of algorithmic flattening and datafication, our project asks: How do artists engage with the unsayable, the ineffable, and how can apophatic thought expand and deepen their work? The editorial team invites artists, researchers, educators, and curators to contribute to a curated publication and exhibition examining art through the lens of apophatic studies—approaches that value negation, silence, absence, and what exceeds representation and description.

Submission: 500-word abstract or project statement and media
Output: Multimodal publication, Research Catalogue exposition, and hybrid exhibition.
